Immigrants helping an LASD officers who had been working alongside ICE agents to deport other immigrants. No matter what you say about us, no matter what you do to try to strip away our dignity or pit us against each other, we will not lose our humanity.
We’re here because we want what every human being wants: to live, to work, and to exist in peace. We contribute to this society in more ways than most will ever see. You can try to criminalize our presence, but you cannot erase our humanity.
